When you hear steel buildings you might be thinking about something like the Empire State Building. Well, that’s not what this article is about. We’re talking about sheds that you can put up in your yard to store your car, firewood, boat, or even airplane. So, if you were hoping to read about steel buildings built in the United States, I apologize for the confusion. For those of you who knew what this was about, let’s look at some of these steel buildings. The first thing you should consider when shopping for US steel buildings is the shipping price. At the time I’m writing this article, Home Depot’s Web site includes shipping in the price of their steel buildings. It is wise to look at sites that have the shipping price included. You don’t want to get hooked on a specific model, and then find out that you’re going to have pay arm and leg for the shipping. Help yourself out, and shop somewhere that includes the shipping. Also, if you can find free shipping then that’s all the better. Arrow makes US steel buildings at an affordable price. They have a 10’ x 12’ vinyl coated steel storage building that will cost you around $800. You can’t really hope to spend much less than that given the size and the vinyl coating.
If you’re looking for something a little smaller, Hamlet makes a 8’ x 6’ shed that’s about $400. Steel buildings that are this small are good for storing smaller things. You can’t expect to put your car into a storage shed of this size. You should measure the things you plan on putting in your storage shed before shopping for one. You want to know how much space you’ll really need. There’s no reason to buy a large one if you don’t need it. On the other hand, you don’t want your shed to be too small either. US steel buildings really come in all shapes and sizes. If you’re looking for something enormous, VersaTube makes large steel buildings. They have a 30’ x 32’ steel building. As you can tell just from the numbers, this is much larger than the other ones we’ve been talking about. This is a real deal garage. This thing is bigger than some people’s houses. Accordingly, it’s going to cost you more than other buildings. This one will set you back about $10,000. Some people wonder why they’d ever need to look at US steel buildings that big. Well, they do serve their purpose. If you want to keep your larger stuff safe from the elements, and you don’t have garage space for them, then this is a wonderful option. It’s much more convenient to have your stuff in a storage shed near you rather than to pay for it to be stored far away. US steel buildings are usually worth their price. So that’s what the market is looking like right now for US steel buildings. I hope you are able to find what you’re looking for out there. |
